-
To promote international networks, platforms, and exchange programs to strengthen the global Afro-community;
-
To recognize, reflect upon, and actively address the ongoing impacts of the legacy of slavery and colonial histories, and to promote restitution, recognition, and healing in the broadest sense;

-
The activities of the federation are solely aimed at serving the public interest and are not intended for profit-making. Any revenues will be fully applied to the realization of the statutory objectives.
Mission
The federation, from a Dutch perspective, works globally to strengthen, advocate for, and connect Pan-African organizations. It promotes social justice, cultural recognition, economic self-sufficiency, and political influence. The federation creates space for collaboration, policy engagement, and self-organization, in solidarity with the struggle against racism, colonial legacies, the enduring impact of slavery, and systemic exclusion.
We aspire to a world in which people of African descent are free to shape their own future, grounded in dignity, justice, and collective empowerment. We aim to build sustainable systems in which our communities are not only heard but also actively participate in decision-making processes that affect their lives.
We Do This By:
-
Actively engaging as a dialogue partner with national and international governments, multilateral institutions, civil society organizations, businesses, and other relevant stakeholders.
-
Promoting and advocating for the interests of the Afro-community and our (future) members, both nationally and internationally.
-
Encouraging cooperation and solidarity among organizations and individuals in the diaspora and the Global South.

Any such remuneration will at all times be market-based, transparently determined, and in compliance with the requirements set by the tax authorities for Public Benefit Organizations (ANBI).
Reporting and Transparency
The Federation prepares an annual report and financial accountability statement each year. These are approved by the General Assembly. The Federation operates transparently and makes relevant information available in accordance with ANBI requirements.
Our Promise
Together, we write history. Together, we build a strong, connected, and future-oriented Afro community, locally and globally.
