It is with great pleasure that we invite you to a festive and informative gathering of the Federation Afro Diaspora Network (FADN).
Date: Saturday, January 24, 2026
Time: 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Location: Public Library Amsterdam (OBA)
Address: Oosterdokskade 143, 1011 DL Amsterdam
The gathering will begin with the presentation of the board and the Research & Development Committee, followed by a celebratory moment during which the board will raise a glass to the existence and future of the federation. Afterwards, Ms. Miriam Edioduku from Hungary will speak on the occasion of the UNESCO World Day for African and Afro-descendant Culture.
This will be followed by an informative session in which we will guide you through the mission, vision, and working methods of the federation. During this meeting, you will gain a clear understanding of how the federation operates, which projects are being developed, and how we aim to contribute collectively to the strengthening of the Afro diaspora.
We are proud to share that the website of the Federation Afro Diaspora Network has recently been launched. Through www.federatie-adn.org, you can access all relevant information about the federation.

Accessibility OBA
The meeting will take place at the Public Library Amsterdam (OBA Oosterdok), located directly next to Amsterdam Central Station.
Public Transport: The OBA is easily accessible by public transport. From Amsterdam Central Station, it is approximately a 5-minute walk (IJ-side exit).The following tram lines stop at Amsterdam Central Station: 4, 14, 24, and 26.
By Car: The OBA does not have its own parking facilities. Several parking garages are available nearby, including Oosterdok and IJdock. From there, it is approximately a 5 to 10-minute walk.
